About the role

Our partner is on the lookout for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support their Microsoft Cloud and Windows Server technology stacks. This 12-month contract role offers a unique opportunity to manage and support our partner's technology services while carrying out exciting initiatives. 

As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Craft and execute technology initiatives shaping our partner's infrastructure, strategy, and budgeting
  • Lend your technical expertise to projects and initiatives
  • Keep the digital gears turning smoothly, ensuring high availability, performance, capacity, and security, as well as disaster recoverability
  • Be the guiding light for technology requirements and directions 

The ideal candidate will bring a treasure trove of skills to the table: 

  • A wealth of experience as a seasoned engineer across cloud technologies 
  • Mastery of Microsoft's technology, including M365, Entra ID, Intune, Teams, Exchange Online, and Azure (IaaS and PaaS) and Virtual Desktop
  • Fluency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Bicep 
  • Expertise in modern SOE deployment using Intune 
  • Proficiency in LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networking, with experience in Fortinet and Meraki
  • Savvy in voice and video conferencing 
  • Command of technical security methods (Firewalls, Antivirus, SIEM, WAFs, DLP, Host Intrusion Protection)
  • Prowess in Windows Server and technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, Certificate Services, File services, etc)
  • Advanced problem-solving skills in mission-critical environments 
  • An insatiable curiosity for emerging technologies in the context of IT strategies
