About the role

As Enterprise Risk Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining robust governance across EMEA entities and ensuring ongoing compliance with both internal policies and external licensing requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing frameworks, guiding teams through change, and translating regulatory language into everyday action. You’ll lead efforts to embed risk practices that support local operations while aligning with a broader global strategy. If you bring both technical understanding and a practical mindset, this is an opportunity to have significant impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee enterprise and operational risk for EMEA entities, ensuring alignment with group frameworks
  • Provide advisory support and second-line oversight on risk assessments, incident analysis, MI reporting, and key risk indicators
  • Establish and maintain the ERM framework, risk governance policies, and local procedures
  • Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to ensure risk identification, documentation, and mitigation are embedded in day-to-day operations
  • Support implementation of enterprise risk systems and tools across the region
  • Drive clarity and consistency across risk processes to support ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Provide structured and accurate risk reporting to regional committees and boards
  • Support license applications for new products or regions within EMEA
  • Facilitate risk training to foster awareness and strengthen a proactive risk culture

What makes you ideal:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise or operational risk management, ideally within the financial sector
  • Skilled at translating risk requirements into practical guidance for diverse teams
  • Strong writing and communication abilities—confident drafting documents for regulators and senior stakeholders
  • Analytical and investigative mindset with a sharp eye for trends and root causes
  • Calm, organised, and capable of managing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience working with regulatory requirements in EMEA and/or fintech settings is a plus
  • Able to build strong relationships across functional and geographic boundaries
