About the role

As a Scheduling Analyst, you'll be the timekeeper of progress, ensuring every project milestone aligns perfectly with the overall plan. Your expertise will be crucial to successful project delivery as you craft logical sequences, anticipate potential hurdles, and keep all stakeholders informed and aligned. The position is full-time and on-site, so you must live in or near the New York metropolitan area.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Compose the symphony of work sequences, contract durations, and project phases 
  • Collaborate closely with clients, laborers, and project managers to orchestrate all construction phases 
  • Conduct preemptive schedule health checks, proposing risk mitigation strategies to keep the project tempo steady 
  • Refine scheduling processes, creating a seamless flow of cost and schedule information 
  • Manage the Baseline Change process with precision 
  • Masterfully utilize Primavera/Expedition programs
  • Craft monthly schedule updates, narratives, and reports that resonate with management and clients 
  • Analyze claims and time extensions, assessing their impact on project costs 

Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field 
  • At least 5 years of full-time experience scheduling large-scale civil construction projects 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is ideal 
  • Proven credentials analyzing schedule claims 
  • Strong skills in MS Office, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat 
  • Can communicate with clarity and confidence in English, both verbally and in writing
