About the role

Our partner is seeking a skilled DevOps Lead to drive best practices, automation, and continuous integration across the organization. Working closely with development and QA teams, you'll ensure that the pipelines run smoothly and all game services are deployed without a hitch. What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Cloud DevOps Engineers
  • Drive best practices for infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable GCP infrastructure
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration for game services
  • Oversee the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for game deployment
  • Establish robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Lead incident response efforts and post-mortem analyses to prevent recurrence
  • Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices
  • Advocate for DevOps culture and cloud-native principles across the organization

What makes you ideal:

  • Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Google Deployment Manager
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, load balancers, and DNS
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver
  • Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and have strong problem-solving abilities
  • You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience with mobile gaming platforms or high-traffic consumer-facing services is a plus
