Applications Engineering Manager

In this role, you'll lead a talented engineering test team and oversee the validation of state-of-the-art hardware and software products. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring these products meet the highest performance and quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Nurture and guide the applications engineering test team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth 
• Craft and implement comprehensive test strategies
• Orchestrate software regression and hardware design validation testing with precision and insight 
• Inspire your team to meet and exceed performance, coverage, and range comparison targets 
• Spearhead the creation of detailed test reports and compelling marketing materials 
• Liaise between engineering, product management, and customer support teams 
• Navigate the complexities of debugging intricate issues with patience and expertise 
• Cultivate and enhance the infrastructure needed for extensive testing and automation 
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 
• Proven track record in applications engineering and testing, particularly with wireless communication technologies 
• Strong leadership abilities and a knack for nurturing talent 
• Sharp problem-solving skills and deep technical knowledge 
• Clear and effective communication and documentation skills, both verbal and written 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with OTA, multi-device setups, and complex hardware/software environments 
• Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies 
• Knowledge of de-sense testing, range testing, and rf coverage comparisons 
• Talent for creating engaging marketing collateral and comprehensive technical reports
