In this guide, we'll show you how to take the Marlee Motivational Analysis to gain a greater understanding of yourself and others at work.

The results will help you identify your motivations, ideal work environment, and areas for development.

Set aside 15 to 30 minutes in a quiet place with no distractions.

We'll walk you through the steps to sign up, answer key questions, and complete the analysis.

Let's get started

Step #1: Go to GetMarlee.com
Step #2: Click on "Sign up."
Step #3: Follow the prompts to create your account.
Step #4: Enter your first and last name in the fields.
Step #5: Click on "Next."
Step #6: Set your preferred pronouns.
Step #7: Set your role.
Step #8: Set your role title.

Tell us what you're looking for, so Marlee can personalize insights to your unique workplace needs.

Step #9: Click on "Next."
Step #10: Connecting with others: Select the options most relevant to you at work.
Step #11: Click on "Next."
Step #12: Motivating yourself or others: Select the options most relevant to you at work.
Step #13: Click on "Next."
Step #14: Collaboration with others: Select the options most relevant to you at work.
Step #15: Click on "Next."
Step #16: Developing yourself and others: Select the options most relevant to you at work.
Step #17: Click on "Next."

Next, create your account.

Step #18: Click to enter your work email.
Step #19: Click on "Next."
Step #20: Once you've created your account, you can start the motivational analysis.
Step #21: Click on "Next."

There are 40 questions. Remember this is about finding out what energizes you at work.

Step #22: For each question, click and drag the options until they are in the correct order for you.
Step #23: Click on "Next."
Step #24: Continue to click and drag each set of options for each question. Rearrange the questions until they are in the correct order for you.
Step #25: Continue to prioritize the questions.
Step #26: Click on "Next."

You've now completed the first four questions in the Marlee Motivational Analysis.

Step #27: Share your birthday.
Step #28: Click on "Next."
Step #29: Choose the country where you're located.

Then, choose your workplace culture. To give your motivation levels context and significance, we contrast them against a sample of others working in your local culture.

Step #30: Choose your workplace culture.
Step #31: Enter your company name.
Step #32: Click on "Next."
Step #33: You can now search for or invite a friend, partner or teammate to join you in Marlee.
Step #34: Click on "Invite."

Now that you've completed the first four questions in the Marlee Motivational Analysis, you can ask Marlee a question.

However, note that Marlee's insights will be more accurate if you complete all 40 questions in the Marlee Motivational Analysis.

At the top, you'll see the "Setup Guide" progress chart. You can complete the Motivational Analysis by clicking the button to continue. This will take you to the remaining questions.

Step #35: Click on "Continue motivation analysis."
Step #36: Continue to click and drag to prioritize the questions into the order that makes sense for you.
Step #37: Click on "Next."
Step #38: You can see how many questions you've answered as you go via "Question 13/36" below. This means you've answered 13 questions out of the 36 remaining.
Step #39: Click on "Next."
Step #40: Continue to prioritize each set of questions.
Step #41: Click on "Next."
Step #42: Rearrange the questions until they are in the correct order for you. Don't overthink it!
Step #43: Click on "Next."
Step #44: The last set of questions will be labelled "Question 36/36".
Step #45: Click on "Next."

Once you've answered all 40 questions, your Marlee Motivational Analysis is complete!

Then you can jump straight in to view your results.

Step #46: Click on "Boards."
Step #47: Or click on the "My Results" board.

You can view your top five "Highest Motivations", and your "Lowest Motivations" via Marlee's visualised boards.

Step #48: Click the "Tell me more" button below each board and Marlee will provide more detailed insights on your results.

❤️ It's important to remember ❤️ your motivations aren't about being 'good' or 'bad' - they're your unique energy boosters at work.

High scores show what gets you fired up, while low scores point to what might drain you over time.

Remember, low scores don't mean you can't do something - they just hint at where you might need extra breaks or support.

When you align your work with your natural motivations, you'll find yourself slipping into that awesome 'flow state' more easily.
