Hey there, data wizard! Are you ready to lead a team of 200 amazing data scientists and shape the future of design? Our partner is on a mission to empower the world to design, and they're looking for a world-class Head of Data Science to make that happen.

In this role, you'll be the data mastermind, partnering with business leaders and colleagues across Product, Design, and Engineering. Your mission? To craft strategies, tools, and processes that harness the power of customer data to achieve our partner's ambitious goals. 

What you'll be doing: 

• Crafting the strategic vision for Data Science and aligning it with our partner's broader direction 
• Connecting metrics across the business to deeply understand what drives impact and progress 
• Setting up your team for success with great tools that make data work efficient, scalable, and enjoyable 
• Partnering with leaders to shape the data science organization to meet business needs 
• Working closely with the Head of Growth to drive commercial impact and continue the growth story 
• Extending the experimentation culture and launching great new products with confidence 
• Ensuring customer expectations around privacy, data security, and online safety are met 
• Evolving and scaling our partner's culture of data excellence

• You've got tech company experience and understand the industry's unique concepts 
• You're a great communicator, breaking down complex topics into simple solutions 
• You have a history of influencing business decisions with data 
• You're comfortable with the technical side of data science, from SQL to forecasting 
• You understand data warehousing and how to achieve performance at scale 
• You're well-versed in experimentation platforms and data science tools 
• You can optimize product funnels, run experiments, and build effective dashboards 

About the team: 

You'll be joining a highly technical team with great commercial acumen. They run experiments, report on business success, forecast future impacts, and work on all sorts of models that have direct impacts on the product. The team also covers data needs for People, Finance, and operational areas.
